REACH Therapeutic Riding Center – Mission Statement
REACH Therapeutic Riding Center strives to improve the quality of life for persons with disabilities through the use of equines. Our goal is to improve the overall wellness of the individual, increase their confidence, and promote independence while providing hippotherapy and therapeutic riding as appropriate.
Who are we? REACH Therapeutic Riding Center is a non-profit corporation that provides a charitable service to all persons, who are cleared by a physician, to receive therapy by the use of a horse. The center provides service to anyone with a disability regardless of race, religion, or national origin. We are a highly professional, stable organization working with local medical, educational, public and social agencies and professionals. We are tax exempt under IRS Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Who do we serve? Our center serves individual clients in Mclennan county Texas and surrounding counties. We provide safe and affordable hippotherapy and therapeutic riding activity with our horses. Additional types of therapy are also available through our partners, Hope Therapy Team. See more information at
camphopetherapy.com. They have a large staff including speech and language pathologists, physical therapists, and occupational therapists.
What industry standards do we use? We are a member center of The North American Riding for the Handicapped Association, NARHA. We operate strictly by their standards. See more information at
