~Therapeutic Riding ~
Therapeutic Riding is geared to meet specific riding and/or social objectives. The primary focus of therapeutic riding is to teach horsemanship and riding skills that build toward independence both in and out of the arena. During each semester, the instructors will also implement “ground lessons” in which the participant will learn how to work with their horse by leading, interacting with and learning from a perspective other than the saddle. These lessons translate to the progress of the participant’s riding skills. Therapeutic Riding lessons are 50 minutes long.
